The Crystal Lake FamilySearch Center at 480 Walkup Rd is open Tuesdays from 10 am - 2 pm and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.
The McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society is a non-profit, tax exempt organization of family history researchers from all over the world.
  
The purpose of the McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society (MCIGS) is to foster an interest in genealogy, provide instruction in current research methods and practices, and support the preservation of and access to genealogical and historical records. 

MCIGS is funded in part by a grant from Illinois Humanities.
