Looking for information on the MORRIS Family. Franklin L. MORRIS was born 1858 in New Jersey, and died in McHenry Co., IL. He was the son of John Wesley MORRIS and Rebecca YOUMANS. He married Anna ECHTERNACH. She was born in Pennslyvania. John Wesley MORRIS was born 10 Dec 1818 in Monmouth, NJ , USA , and died 30 Mar 1880 in Elburn, Kane Co., IL. He was buried 1880 in Blackberry Cemetery - Elburn, Kane Co., IL. He was the son of Samuel MORRIS and Catharina BENNETT. Children of Rebecca YOUMANS and John Wesley MORRIS were: Franklin L. MORRIS, born 1858 in New Jersey, died in Kane Co., IL. Edgar T. MORRIS, born 1859 in Monmouth, NJ, died 1913 in Elburn, Kane Co., IL. I am seeking information on Laura Ann PARDEE & Seth WYMAN. Laura was married to Alpheus GRIFFITH/GRIFFETH in Broome Co., NY in 1848. They moved to McHenry Co., abt 1855 & lived there with their nine(?) children. It appears that Alpheus later left for Kansas/Nebraska area (where their sons had moved) leaving Laura behind. She had no source of income & divorced him. Laura died 1909 (buried in Union, McHenry Co., IL) & Seth died 1903 (burial location unknown.) I would like to find: marriage date for Laura & Seth, the place of burial of Seth & information on the daughter (Imogene)/Emma Jean) of Laura & Alpheus GRIFFITH.

I am looking for any information regarding the JONATHAN THOMAS family. Jonathan, his wife Rachel, and children Edward Seth, Owen, George, Uriah J., and Phebe Jane arrived in McHenry County from New York between 1850 and 1860. They lived in Hebron and Richmond Townships, and the eldest son Edward Seth left for Chippewa County Minnesota before 1880. I am descended through Edward Seth but have almost no information on his ancestry.
