Mary WOODBURY. William is rumored to have been orphaned when parents were
supposedly killed in train wreck.

Looking for death records of Joseph HOWDEN and his wife, Mary (nee SLATER) who
lived in Richmond, McHenry Co., Illinois, in 1880. Joseph b. in Yorkshire,
England in Feb., 1839; came to America in 1843. He owned 40 acres of land in
Sec.11. Married Mary ROBERTSHAU, a widow, on 22 April 1873, in Kenosha, Kenosha
Co., Wisconsin. She was born in Aug.,1834 in England & was the daughter of David
SLATER and Martha HALEY, also of Hartshead, Clifton, Yorkshire, England. In
1870, she resided in Kenosha, Kenosha Co., Wisconsin, with her married brother,
Abraham SLATER, and her daughter, Martha ROBERTSHAU or ROBERTSHAW. Need death
records of Joseph and Mary HOWDEN, after 1880. Also interested in any further
information for Mary ROBERTSHAU, born about 1864, who was the step-daughter of
Joseph HOWDEN. Thank you very much,
