I am researching a JOHNSON MARSH, 1776-1870s. JOHNSON MARSH is an extremely rare name. Every JOHNSON MARSH I have found can be traced back to this gentleman. Unfortunately, only a fraction of his children are known. These are mostly the ones that came from Vermont to Ontario. It is reasonable to think that he was the grandfather of Johnson Marsh SOPER 1832-1901, as listed in the MCIGS Index. I would like to contact anyone that would know Johnson Marsh SOPER's mother's name. I would expect that it would be a MARSH but maybe not, Johnson could have been a grandfather.
