McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society

The Connection Quarterly offers information about early McHenry County and its families, old county records, ancestral or "ahnentafel" charts, Bible records, queries, etc., are welcome.  Books and publications pertaining to McHenry County will be accepted for review and donated to our library collection housed at the McHenry Public Library, McHenry, Illinois.  If you have material you wish to submit for consideration, please forward to MCIGS, Attn: Quarterly Editor.  Material will not be returned unless accompanied by an SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope).

Members of MCIGS may submit queries requesting information on any of their ancestors -- McHenry County related or not.  There is no limit to the number of queries that may be submitted, but the Editor reserves the right to select a limited number to be published at any one time.  Non-members may submit a McHenry County related query at no charge.  

Deadlines for all material for publication are March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1.  These are not publication dates.
